Southampton School District approves new teacher contract

The Southampton School District is pleased to announce that the Board of Education unanimously approved a new five-year contract with the Southampton Teachers Association (STA) during its July 21 meeting. This agreement, memorialized in a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), sets terms for the 2025–2030 school years and marks a milestone in the district’s commitment to collaboration and educational excellence.

“It was my great honor and privilege to work with the Southampton Teachers Association to reach a deal that is supportive of students, families and faculty,” said Superintendent of Schools Dr. Fatima Morrell. “I am confident this agreement will help us reach the district’s goals and ensure our teaching staff feels supported.”

The Board, administration and the association all look forward to continued partnership aimed at enhancing instruction, professional development and student achievement.
