Student Arrival, Dismissal and Bus Information

All students are encouraged to take our school buses to and from school each day. The Southampton Transportation Department and Montauk Bus will be communicating bus route numbers and pick up/drop off locations prior to the start of school. We ask that all parents and guardians follow the directions of security staff to ensure everyone’s safety.

SHS will once again have bus dismissal runs after period 9 AND after period 10 extra help. That means that students who do not need to stay for period 10 extra help will have a bus available after the completion of the 9 period day. Secondly, we will be offering an athletic bus for students who stay at SHS for after school athletics. The SHS athletic bus will depart approximately 5:30 PM. All students enrolled in a fall sport should have received an email  invitation to sign up for the late bus runs. Again, all bus stops will be communal.
