Position Title: SIS & SHS SIFE BASA Teacher

Location: Southampton Intermediate & Southampton High School

Salary/Pay Scale: Teachers - $106.17 per hour/ Bilingual Teaching Assistants - $49.95 per hour (64 hours total)

Description: The SIS & SHS SIFE BASA program will take place after school for 3 days each week, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Teacher and Teaching Assistant candidates are needed for this program. Teachers will provide comprehensive literacy and mathematics instruction with effective support for language development and content understanding to support SIFE students. Instruction will be delivered in Spanish and English. The program will take place after school during the 2025-2026 school year.

Requirements: Teacher candidates must hold a valid NYS certification in either English as a Second Language and/or a Bilingual extension. Bilingual teaching assistant candidates must hold a valid certificate.
