Posting Title: Lead Security Guards (4)  

• 3 Day Lead Security Guards
• 1 Night Lead Security Guard

 

Location: District Wide 

 

Stipend: 5,000.00 (12 months prorated) 

 

Requirement: Applicants must be currently employed as a guard with the Southampton School District. 

 

Description: There is a need for a current security staff member to assist the Director of School Safety by assuming the duties listed below in addition to their regular guard duties.  The expectation is that this work will occur either prior, during or after the employee’s regular shift. 

 

• Serve as the liaison between the security department and building administration. 

• Point person for security during emergency procedures and drills. 

• Responsible for all security communications within the building assigned. 

• Assign & Schedule guards to post or patrols through the district.  Call in substitutes as needed to cover employees out on sick/vacation/personal time. 

• Assist with interviewing and training new and current guards. 

• Create and/or collect reports pertaining to work logs, incidents, patrols, equipment and inventory. 

• Submit reports or data pertaining to daily activities. 

• Direct visitor parking as needed. 

• Additional duties as required.
