The Southampton School District seeks a Physical Education Teacher. This anticipated vacancy is a probationary appointment. The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:

• NYSED certification in Physical Education K-12 required

• NYSED certification in Health Education K-12 preferred

• Successful experience teaching Physical Education in an Elementary setting preferred

• Knowledge of concepts and strategies related to movement and performance

• Exemplary understanding of NYS Physical Education Learning Standards

• Ability to collaborate with a highly respected faculty and staff
