Position Title: CSE Chairperson – Per diem

Compensation: $600 Per Diem

Loacation: District Wide

Description: 

The Southampton UFSD is looking for a skilled individual to support the Special Education department as a part-time Committee on Special Education (CSE) Chairperson in our K-12 programs during the annual review season (December- June). This position will be compensated per diem ($600) and work up to 2 days a week. 

Ideal candidates will have:

• Proven experience chairing CSE meetings

• A background in both elementary and secondary education

• Preferred certification and experience as a school psychologist or special education administrator

• Expertise in Part 200 of the Regulations of the Commissioner

• Experience with utilizing IEP Direct

• Strong ability to conduct legally compliant CSE meetings and collaborate effectively with staff, students, and families
