Southampton students enjoy local field trips

Southampton Intermediate School students had the opportunity to take two field trips during the Summer Academy program. All classes visited the new Heart of the Hamptons building and the Southampton African American Museum. Each trip incorporated the Summer Academy’s social and emotional learning themes of self-acceptance, self-management, responsibility and social awareness. Students also learned more about their local community and its history.
